There are a few pieces that we offer that can only be shipped between the US and Canada.  

These are any pieces that require a mold.  If you are unsure if a product will ship outside of the US or Canada, not to worry!  The shipping selection for any pieces using a mold won't offer shipping outside of these locations.   

We offer many fingerprint or handwriting (or both!) pieces that can ship anywhere in the world.  The reason for this is we give you directions to take a good fingerprint on paper, and everything can be sent back and forth online, so there's no customs or shipping other than the shipping of the final product.

When a piece that requires a mold is purchased, I send a mold kit out to you right away. (Same day if purchased before 12pm EST and the next business day if after 12pm EST)

The kit contains the mold materials you need to take your pet's prints (I send extra material so you can create a keepsake of your pet's paw AND nose regardless of which piece you purchased), a return prepaid label to send the molds back once made, and all the instructions you need.

When you are ready, you use the prepaid return label to send the molds back to me. 

The molds you send to me are then used to make your finished pieces.  Generally, it's about 2 weeks before shipping the finished piece once I receive your molds back. 

An email with your tracking information will be sent to you once they are shipped to you.  I will always ship your molds back to you as well for you to hold onto as a keepsake.  They can always be reused in the future if you'd ever like to add to your important keepsake collection.

Molded Fingerprints:

Molded fingerprints are just that, a mold of a finger.  So, they are best if, for example, you'd like to have your children's finger shape and size at this point/age in their life to preserve.  I personally, have taken my children's molded fingerprints every other year, and the depth of the lines and size of their mold will be different each time. 

Fingerprint molds for children don't typically have very deep lines, and if a child is under 3 year old, they may not be very visible if at all.  They are still great to have a mold of their little finger to preserve as a keepsake. 

The mold you create for me is the mold I use for your fingerprints.  The better the mold, obviously, the better the finished piece will be.  That is why I provide detailed instructions and a video is available to you as well for a good visual.

If it's more important for you to have more visible fingerprint lines, it's be to choose the option "Fingerprints on Paper".

Fingerprints from ink/ Fingerprints from a Jpeg are our best sellers and a terrific option if: 

1. Time is an issue, these pieces can be made relatively quickly if needed, as molds do not have to be sent back and forth in the mail. 

2. You'd prefer more detailed fingerprint lines.

3. Allow multiple shape and sizing options.

4. If you are outside of the US or Canada, as everything is sent via email. There are no need for molds to ship back and forth, which is very difficult with customs.

5. If a person has passed away.

6. Overall, this is the best option for any fingerprint, as it's more controlled, and I create the mold from paper for you so there is less room for error.
