About the Artist - Daria Dzwil

"We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal.  We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity"

~Paulo Coelho

My professional background began at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. I earned my B.F.A. degree in metals and jewelry design in 2001.

My work has followed my own life path… starting with children’s pieces, wedding jewelry, personalized gifts, and now creating precious fingerprint and handwriting pieces as keepsakes of our loved ones to preserve forever and keep close to us on our journey through this life.  A tangible reminder that they are always with us, because they truly are in everything we do.

I have always had a strong calling to serve and help others and found I am able to do so through my work.

I've been involved with many organizations, gifting time and pieces to raise money for their specific causes. From anti-hate organizations (coexist, safety pin, BLM pieces) to autism speaks (puzzle pendant).

I am most proud of my work with Circle of Friends, founded by Ms. Lisa Williams in 1999.

Circle of Friends assists youth and young women survivors of violence, street life, and human trafficking in their efforts to pursue educational endeavors and acquire skills to become self-sufficient.

Circle of Friends educates, equips, and empowers women to live their best life, free of violence, as they serve other women and girls.

I started a line of jewelry for Circle of Friends in 2011 and now create pieces from the personal messages the girls write in their own handwriting… serving as a wearable reminder of their power, strength and beauty.

I really enjoy working directly with each customer, as each piece is so special and unique... knowing how important the small details are.

All of the pieces you see on my website were made from customized orders. Almost every time a new piece is made, I create a new listing, so, my work is constantly evolving.

Thank you so much for visiting my shop, please come again!

There are a lot of handmade designs out there. I personally make each one by hand, with love, and each piece is one of a kind.

Thank you for supporting a small business.

Gratefully yours,

Daria
